Many of you are aware that I have a serious backlog of unpublished books. What you may not know is that I have a number of unpublished short stories, as well. I have recently expanded my editing process, which will permit me to publish a new book every two months, and a short story every other month.
What this means is that since I published “Warm Oklahoma Winter” earlier this month, I will be publishing a short story at the beginning of May. Then going forward, I will be alternating the publishing of a new book with that of a short story until I get caught up.
I love writing. I can get frustrated if I haven’t written for a time. When I first started writing in earnest, after retirement, I wrote as many as 12 books in one year! Now, I have settled quite happily into the routine of writing four books a year.
At this time, one editor has one book, another editor is working on a second, and I am busily writing a third. See the issue?
So, I expect this new publishing schedule will solve all issues, and I shouldn’t have any more situations as I did this past winter when I went 4 1/2 months between published books!
Please enjoy this new stream of books, and check out the short stories, as well, as they become available. The short story to be published is “The Retirement Flight.” Look for it around May 5th!
